Trippy Wicked and The Cosmic Children Of The Knight

Going Home cover art

Trippy Wicked and The Cosmic Children Of The Knight are a brilliant Blues Infused Doom/Stoner Metal Band from St Albans/Knebworth, England.

The members are:

Pete - Guitar, Chris - Drums, Dicky - Bass

Trippy Wicked And The Gang have been featured on this blog before with their excellent debut album “Moving On” which was acclaimed by fans and critics alike.

Trippy Wicked’s blend of Blues Infused Doom/Stoner Metal struck a chord with listeners everywhere and they built up a great fan-base because of it.

Well the guys are back their excellent new album – “Going Home” – An 9 song collection of superb tracks that chronicle a twisted night out from start to finish.

Over the next 40 mins or so you will hear brilliant blues based Doom/Stoner Metal riffs chronicling a night out that many of us have all experienced.

I am not going to do a song by song account as you have to hear this brilliant album yourself. All I can say this is Trippy Wicked’s best work to date and features amazing Stoner/Doom Metal riffs from beginning to end.

Trippy Wicked keep with their Trippy Name by adding a few Psych Rock vibes here and there. The band still pays homage to legendary rockers Black Sabbath here and there with the odd riffage paying respect to their heroes. But this adds to the overall feel of the album as it adds a cool vibe to proceedings.

Vocals and instrumental playing are brilliant as ever. This is some of the most passionate and energetic Stoner/Doom Metal music I have heard this year.

The album is expertly written and produced. It’s loud and crisp from the start that should satisfy the most jaded of listeners.

This album is a feel-good masterpiece of hard rocking riffs that will have you coming back time and time again.

As with their last album, Trippy Wicked has decided to release this album via Pay Anything You Want Download on  BandCamp and here from Internet Archive. You can also buy your physical copies from BandCamp as well.

So you know the deal and what I am going to say. Just download this brilliant album right now. It’s appearing on all the other top blogs so you know it’s going to be good. And it is. Another great Doom/Stoner Metal Band from the UK.

Highly Recommended.
